Recipe: OBK English Barleywine

The richest and strongest of the English ales. A showcase of malty richness and complex, intense flavours. Can be appreciated early after packaging or aged, as flavours and character of the beer can significantly change over time. Multi-layered flavours ranging from bready and biscuity through nutty, deep toast, dark caramel, toffee, and dried fruits. A moderate level of malty sweetness on the palate. Medium bitterness to balance the malty body. This mahogany brown beer has great depth, one sure to be enjoyed fresh or aged.
